Once my move to Engineering Workbench is confirmed, what happens next?
Migration to Engineering Workbench includes a freeze period on the Enterprise platform that begins no more than 14 days from your new contract start date. Once the freeze period begins, you will notice some features turned off within Enterprise. This ensures the technology team has enough time to configure your Engineering Workbench account with data extracted from your Enterprise account.

Migration
What features will be turned off during the freeze period/migration process?
The following features are disabled during the migration process: list creation and modification, user creation and modification, and external references.
List Creation and Modification
- For existing lists, you will not be able to change the list name, share with additional users, change security settings, or add/remove documents.
- For new lists, you will not be able to create them during this time.
User Creation and Modification

What if a user needs to be added to or removed from the subscription?

Can users access previously purchased single copy purchase documents?

Dual Access
The post-migration period lasts for 30 days, during which time you will have dual access to Enterprise and Engineering Workbench. During this transition period, users can access content on both platforms.
During your dual access period, new activity – adding users or content – should occur in Engineering Workbench as that will be your platform going forward. Anything changed in the Enterprise platform during this time will not be present in your Engineering Workbench account nor will it be accessible after your Enterprise subscription expires.
Enterprise functionality remains the same as it was during the freeze period.
- Lists can be accessed but not created or edited.
- Users cannot be created or removed.
- User accounts can be unlocked.
- Content can be accessed and downloaded. Please remember that any downloaded secure PDFs will automatically expire when your Enterprise subscription expires at the end of the dual access period.
- Content should not be added via building block if some were not used during the contract term; this content will not transfer and should be added directly to the active subscription on Engineering Workbench.
- Single copy purchase content can be accessed and downloaded.
If you are a subscription administrator, please pull any required reports before your dual access period ends. This includes any usage, login, or legacy reports.
